Last Saturday (11-11-07) a new, FREE classified site opened dedicated to helping people buy or sell firearms from/to people IN THEIR OWN STATE. As it turns out, it’s legal in MANY states to buy/sell/trade firearms between INDIVIDUALS without having to register the transaction nor to report it to any government agency. Many people don’t know that.

(Of course, there ARE precautions the seller should take to protect himself/herself in case of illegal use of the weapon, like get a photocopy of driver’s license, a signed receipt for the weapon, etc., which can be found elsewhere online.)

As I said, it’s brand new, so firearms-for-sale are scarce at the moment, but feel free to post a firearm-for-sale, or a want-to-buy. There is NO CHARGE for this service, not even for posting a photo …. once the site becomes known, I think it will be a valuable resource, so please help spread the word!
