Next month I’ll fly up to Harrisburg, PA for some legal work on a lawsuit I’m party to. I called my aunt in New York City and told her about it and I let her know that I will have some time on the weekend to visit if she can handle my “right-wing” attitudes! (my aunt is a liberal-hey, she lives in New Yawk-what can I say?)She was delighted. I’ve never seen NYC and people who live there seem to love to show off their city…I can’t imagine why! They don’t have anything like the Alamo!

Anyway, she cautioned me not to bring a firearm, since she wouldn’t be comfortable with it around. I kept quiet about my thoughts on that particular subject and simply commented that my permit was good in Pennsylvania and of course there was my Texas permit-but if I was caught with a gun in New Jersey or New York I’d go to jail! I went on to explain that I’d leave my weapon in Harrisburg and pick it back up on the way through! She suggested that I leave the gun in Texas since it was not needed in the modern world anyway-being a relic of lawless days…well I couldn’t let that one go by….

“Aunt Carrie, have you ever heard of American Express?”

“Sure!”

“Well, I don’t leave home without this! I’ll just stick to the old lawless days since so many t*rds are doing the same!”
