Nineteen-year-old faces manslaughter charge in fatal machete attack

PRINCE GEORGE – RCMP have made an arrest in the murder of a 20-year-old
man who was killed in a machete attack in a parking lot in October.
Brent Melanson died as a result of a severe throat wound after an
altercation in the parking lot of a fast food outlet on Oct. 30.
Cameron Alexander Miller, 19, was charged Thursday with manslaughter and
released from custody under strict bail conditions. Miller is to return
to court on Jan. 5.
RCMP said there were more than two parties to the altercation and
further charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
