There are two kinds of morons out there: Left-wing screwballs and right-wing nuts! Both can be a problem for law enforcement and I’ve had my contacts with each kind. My opinions of the left-wing-dings is well known-I think they’re about as simple as they come. Honesty forces me to admit, however, that nothing beats a New-World-Order, Black-Helicopter freak for real entertainment. These are the same idiots who join militias and think they are going to fight a U.N. sanctioned Army with SKS rifles, so you can see that they ain’t real bright to start with. I understand that now that we’re rid of Clinton there are less of them, but morons like this are like cockroaches-they’ll always be with us!

I went to a Houston Astro-hall gun show once, years ago. I wore my uniform because I worked later that day and also because I got in free with it on…once inside, and while browsing a decent little gun show, some middle aged, pot-bellied, balding, red faced mental case cornered me and demanded to know who I worked for because he didn’t recognize the uniform. His attitude was that I owed him an explaination of who I was and I’d ID myself right away if I knew what was good for me! His stance was aggresive and his hands were on his hips so I let him know I was a campus cop for a small college and taught at the regional academy…he freaked. Practically went ballestic! Apparently it was that much worse that I trained new officers. He whined in a tone of voice that reflected desperation that we were getting closer and closer to a “Police State” and something drastic should be done about us soon! His voice was rising and it was pretty obvious he wasn’t wrapped real tight. I was pretty fed up with retards like him so I just asked him politely if he intended to do something about it personally…like right now? I was wearing an ASP baton…an expandable baton in a holder behind my weapon and I just put my hand on it…he disappeared real quick…with that moron around I was comforted to have the only loaded gun in the place!

I told a friend of mine, a local gun dealer, about it and he sighed, saying:

“Well, maybe Sarah Brady WAS right after all….some people are just too f***ing stupid to own guns!”
