Open letter to Pro-gun advocates

As a Police Officer who is very pro gun, you may find my brief quote very
beneficial towards your great and very much needed cause, the “2nd
Amendment.” Please feel free to use it and pass it on like popcorn.

I am not a coward, therefore you may quote me anytime, anywhere. Just as
long
as you DO NOT take me “out of context.”

Unfortunately a few liberal law enforcement officials have portrayed law
enforcement officers as “pro-gun control.” That is a false perception and
is
just not the case.

Therefore, the liberals are only sound biting theses few opinions of law
enforcement who have taken a stand against gun rights. They are few and far
between. As a matter of fact, most of them have a personal agenda to “climb
the ladder of success” within the political realm and arena.

During those unfortunate shootings, every one of the suspects was already
ILLEGALLY carrying their handguns.

I want to make a very important point. The fact is that every one of them
were in the “ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A HAND GUN!” Why? Because they were all
felons, gang members, or minors, who were already prohibited by STRICT
California laws from “just carrying” a firearm, let alone pointing and/or
shooting it at a police officer.

These laws did not stop them, no more than do the laws against a drug user,
dealer, or the purchaser of narcotics.

The criminals will always have guns and narcotics, whether purchased or
handmade. You see, “the criminals don’t play by the rules, but we police
officers are shackled by laws and treated like fools!”
