Portland, April 15–The PFTT announces a
presentation of the NRA Home Firearm Safety course on
Saturday May 4th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Johnson Creek Gun
Club, 7200 SE Lamphier in Portland.
Candidates who plan to attend any of the upcoming
NRA instructor training courses should be sure to attend
this course.
This class is the NRA’s most basic firearm safety
course and provides the knowledge, skills and attitude to
safely handle and unload most action types, including bolt-,
pump, and lever-action long guns as well as revolvers and
semi-automatic pistols.
The course fee is $10 which includes the NRA
handbook and a completion certificate which satisifies the
statutory training requirement for Oregon’s CHL.
