Perils Of Gun Licensing
In the February 21, 2000 issue of NATIONAL REVIEW Andrew Stuttaford has a fine essay describing the hoops he had to jump through in New York City for a permit to simply have a handgun in his home. His essay describes a bureaucracy designed to make it as cumbersome as possible for people to acquire a reliable means of home-defense.
This issue of NATIONAL REVIEW is currently on the newsstands and in libraries. It is well worth reading and passing along to fellow gunnies.
