Thus spoke Rep. Bob Barr (R. Ga) at an April 4th forum on the “USA Patriot Act” passed by Congress last fall.

The forum was sponsored by the Atlanta chapter of the Federal Bar Association and included other participants such as the President of the ACLU. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, “Barr said Congress acted in haste without thinking through the consequences of the measure. Many of the act’s provisions are overbroad, he said, including giving quasi-federal personnel — referring to airport security officers — the authority to deny a person the right to interstate travel simply because ‘they don’t like the color of his eyes.’”

Maybe eye color alone is no reason to “profile” someone, but the people who flew jets into the Pentagon and WTC weren’t blue-eyed Swedes. They were Arabs. We wouldn’t have a lot of the problems we face in America if our immigration laws prohibited non-white immigration from the Third World. Because most whites are taught that it’s racist to think in terms of their racial group interests, we all have to suffer because massive Third World immigration provides cover for people like the September 11th hijackers.

The encroachment on liberty caused by non-white immigration spills over onto the right to keep and bear arms. Blacks and Latinos commit violent crimes in numbers well out of proportion to their percentages of the U.S. population. Liberals don’t want to offend the people who block-vote in their favor, so guns end up being blamed for all the carnage these non-whites inflict on one another and, unfortunately, many white people.
