SECOND AMENDMENT COALITION OF FLORIDA

The former NRA/ILA Member Councils in Florida (West Palm Beach / Tampa Bay) are proud to announce a merger of the two groups into a single statewide organization now known as ?Second Amendment Coalition of Florida?. At a meeting last week the Palm Beach County organization agreed to include the Tampa Bay group into the new corporation as the ?Tampa Bay Division?.

This will be the first time a grassroots state pro gun organization has existed here. The need for such a group and the demise of the member council program has facilitated the formation of this new organization. We send out an invitation to all pro gun activists in Florida to join us in the fight to defend our gun rights and stop the anti gun consortium that is attacking us verbally and through legislation and local ordinances to destroy that which is ours to enjoy by our birth right.

We also invite our state lobbying organization to work with us to open communications to achieve these goals. In addition we invite the NRA Election Volunteer Coordinators, gun clubs and ranges, firearms dealers and existing gun rights groups to join us as one strong unified voice against gun control and the forces that drive them.

What we do with this new entity is up to the state?s gun owners and their willingness to spend some of their time to help the cause.
