Something’s fishy….
A friend e-mail this to me, R. A. Landgraff. I think he got a direct hit.
I was just watching the evening news tonight where the government has finally realized that “Distractions” are causing 25% of auto accidents.
Most of them are because the driver is busy talking on his cell phone. Others are caused by drivers reading their on-board navigational systems. Apparently reading the monitor screen to show where they are instead of the street
signs causes 85% of them to veer out of their driving lane.
But rather than blaming the technology and outlawing cell phones or distracting navigation/status systems in cars, the government says “we” need to educate the drivers.
Isn’t that just the opposite of their attitude on guns? Instead of educating people on miss use of guns or punishing criminals who use guns in a
crime, they want to take the guns away from everybody including all law abiding citizens.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something seems two-faced here.
