The TYPICAL Hateful antigunner showing his true colors.

March 1st, 2012

I fear these type of people more than criminals and tyrants…………
Anti-gunners are typically violent people at heart. This is why they fear gun ownership.. because they project their own fears of what THEY would do with a gun if they had one.

Gun Banner Wishes My Family to Be Murdered and Die Slowly

from Angel Shamaya

November 25, 2003

This incredibly hateful email is worth sharing — with full headers included — to remind gun owners that gun banners want us and our families dead. His email address is included, should you wish to communicate directly with him. His letter has not been edited. Typos and misspelling are left intact. My response to him follows his very honest hatred.

Note to Parents: The person below who wishes my family murdered and to die slowly uses foul language. If this is a problem for you, be warned not to share it with your children. I discussed whether or not to publish it as is, with several people, and the majority said to let it fly for its authenticity. –AS

You are nothing more than sick ????s who represent everything that is wrong with America (and pretty much the world). You are every bit a fanatic as the Sept 11th terrorists and I believe that people like you are responsible when innocent people get killed by guns.

What possible reason can a normal guy have for owning an AK47? I would love to hear your answer for that although I already can gues it, “Blah blah 2nd ammendmant blah blah.” Well how about not reciting garbage like that and actually answer the dam question.

I can only hope that your mother, wife and children get gunned down and die slowly when they are walking the streets quietly minding their own business. Maybe this will teach you a lesson you sick ????.

Mr. Bellamy,

Thank you for taking the time to write to me. I can see that you have very strong feelings about firearms. It sounds like you’ve never had to use one to defend yourself. I have. Twice. Once, four guys wanted to beat me, or worse, on my own street. I was guilty of nothing more than taking a walk in quietude. The other time, some junkie wanted to relieve me of the money I had just removed from an ATM machine — and probably wanted my vehicle, too.

In both instances, I never had to pull the trigger, and nobody got hurt. For your information, people use firearms every day, all across America, to defend their own lives. Look at the numerous links to recent news stories on the right side of the following page: http://KeepAndBearArms.com/OpSD/

You may wish to leave those people to the lions — the predatory criminals that roam America’s street looking for easy prey — but I respect their rights to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness.

As to why anyone would need to own an AK-47, there are many good reasons, actually. During the “Rodney King Riots” in Los Angeles, for example, the Koreans kept the rioting, looting, murderous mobs from burning their businesses to the ground — by use of military-pattern semi-automatic rifles. And during the awful disaster that was Hurricane Andrew in Florida, people used firearms — including military-pattern semi-automatic rifles — to protect what was left of their homes from looters.

You may wish that all Korean business owners in Los Angeles had had their businesses burned to the ground, but we wish to honor their rights to protect their businesses. You may wish that the people devastated by Hurricane Andrew had been further harmed by having their demolished homes ransacked by roving mobs, but we prefer to protect those tragedy-struck people’s rights to defend what is theirs, and especially to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

As to why I personally own military-pattern firearms, it is to protect my home and my family against people who would do them harm. Take you, for example. Your email is taken as a threat and will be reported to your ISP shortly. But your ISP isn’t here to protect my family from truly hateful and disturbed anti-Korean, anti-homeowner, anti-family people such as yourself. That is my duty. And if you ever came at me or my family with physical expressions of the obvious violence in your murderous heart, I’d mow you down like grass and lose no sleep over it.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and have a very nice Thanksgiving. While you wish my wife, my infant son and my ailing mother would be murdered and die slowly in pain, I hope and pray that your family is safe and well and that if they ever come under attack from a violent criminal there is someone there with a firearm to protect them.

AFTER THOUGHTS:

In reading the thoughts of this latest seething gun prohibitionist, a few things come to mind worth sharing. First, he is obviously driven by anger and wishes violence on innocent people. Next, he clearly has little ability to restrain himself in accord with rules of civility that have been in existence for centuries. So, clearly, this is the kind of person who probably shouldn’t have access to a firearm. He projects his angry, violent nature onto all gunowners, apparently — and wants us to be as weak as he is. That is a pattern we’ve seen many times over the years, rather common in the most virulent of gun banners.

I also find it more than a little bizarre that someone who calls me “sick” is someone who wishes my infant son and my innocent wife and loving mother would be murdered — a truly sick thing to even think, let alone actually write and send. But people who are irrational and illogical about inanimate firearms are rarely accused of being balanced, so this, too, comes as no surprise at all.

It’s good to continually remember that some people hate guns and gunowners so deeply they literally want to see us killed, imprisoned and abused. Next time someone asks you why you invest some of your time working for gun rights and freedom, share Mr. Bellamy’s letter and ask them why they sit on the sidelines.
