Subject: USA vs. Emerson

Greetings!

As many of you are aware from messages that Nancy has been sending to you,
there is a court case that is crucial to the preservation of gun rights that’s
making headlines: USA vs. Emerson. The victories in the courts are mostly on
the side of gun rights.

Women Against Gun Control filed an Amicus Brief in this case. The law firm
of Bamberger & Feibleman located in Indianpolis, Indiana, called Nancy and I
last year and offered to represent WAGC mostly pro bono in the filing of this
Amicus Brief. We said we would be honored to have them represent us. They
also filed in behalf of:

Southern States Police Benevolent Association
Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership, et. al

Thomas D. Strodtman was the attorney from the firm who wrote the Amicus Brief.

This decision may very well be appealed. If it is, it will go the U.S. Supreme
Court. Keep your eye on this case. It will be a key court case to preserving
the 2nd Amendment.

And the members of Women Against Gun Control will play a small part of this
important case because we had a very generous attorney who filed the 40+ page
Amicus Brief in our behalf.

Best regards,

Janalee Tobias
