Non-Gun Homicides On Rise In NYC – (NEW YORK) — Knives, hands and fists
are becoming the murder methods of choice in New York City. Police data
show that non-gun slayings, stabbings, beatings and stranglings are up
14 percent for the first ten months of the year. A spokesman for the
Citizens Crime Commission says the increase suggests more domestic and
family crimes, as opposed to random acts by drug gangs and muggers.
