Whinning about guns

“The aliens have landed, the Cubs won the world series, guns will kill all
our children”.

Actually the first two could happen…the first more likely than the
second…but the third is a complete myth.

I say that because guns don’t kill anyone…PEOPLE who misuse guns kill
people.

I have read your steady hysterical, anti-gun, hate speech aimed at lawful
gun owners and I am quite offended at your lumping lawful gun owners into a
category with criminals.

The editorial the other day ranted on about the new law allowing (law
abiding) gun owners with permits to take their hidden guns into Busch
Stadium, and if someone saw it, they would be asked to leave. They would
take their gun to their car, and return to watch the game.

I am confused as to your point. First of all, if nobody saw it, that means
the gun owner didn’t take it out, therefor there is no problem. Second, if
he takes it back to his car, again no problem.

Another point you made was the law prohibits carrying a gun into schools,
unless the principal gives the person permission. Once again, what is the
point? Apparently the principal doesn’t see a problem with a lawful permit
holder bringing the gun into the school or they wouldn’t grant permission.

I guess you’re saying the principal who is trusted with the care of the
children daily will suddenly become irrational in allowing a responsible
permit holder into the school with a gun. Or, are you saying the responsible
permit holder will suddenly turn into a homicidal maniac once he enters the
school.

Rosie O’Donnel, the rabid anti-gun hate monger, didn’t see a problem hiring
an ARMED bodyguard to carry a gun into a school to guard her child. But then
again she said she had more of right to defend her child than the rest of
us. Besides, she said she THOUGHT NRA members might try to kill her child.

Look in the phone book under mental health professionals Rosie.

Again you said even if the permit holder doesn’t take his gun into the
school, it will still be in his car in the parking lot.

I don’t know about you, but I instructed my gun to never climb out of the
car and go on a killing spree.

All of you fanatical anti-gun extremists have serious mental problems. You
somehow see a twisted world in which law abiding people pose more of a
threat than the criminals who will NEVER obey the “no guns” signs. They will
NEVER take training, fill out forms, go through background checks and pay
whatever the fee is for lawfully carrying a gun. And they will NEVER obey
the laws saying you can’t murder, rob, rape, or steal from people.

You made refernce today to “assault” weapons. If you knew anything about the
REAL assault weapons you would know they were specifically designed to
INJURE, not kill soldiers with the idea an injured soldier would take two or
three people out of the fight to care for him rahter than leaving one dead
soldier on the field.

Toward the end you said something about the daily carnage by hadguns and
rifles murdering innocent people including children.

In the REAL world many more people are killed by car crashes than by people
with guns. Because the gun death statistic includes suicide, justifiable
homicide, gangster killing gangster and police shootings, that leaves a very
small amount of truly innocent people killed by PEOPLE with guns.

So, come out of your demented dream world and resign yourself to the fact
Missouri now joins 44 other states that allow honest citizens to carry guns
where there have been no “Dodge City”, grocery line shootings, or parking
space killing scenario’s.

I am sure in time you will become as compfortable with honest people
carrying guns as you have with criminals carrying them all these years.
